Exciting Times for St Paul’s Cathedral School!
HRH The Duchess of Gloucester, patron of the new boarding house for choristers at St Paul’s Cathedral School performed the topping out ceremony in February .
Topping out is a tradition which goes back many centuries when the laying of the final beam in a building’s roof marked the reaching of the finished height. The ceremony was accompanied by a short service presided by The Precentor of St Paul’s Cathedral, The Rev James Milne
