Lots of opportunities to see the choristers and Senior School musicians out and about at local churches and primary schools. The School runs the St Edmund’s Symphony Orchestra which senior pupils from local schools can sign up for. Junior school pupils can join the East Kent Children’s Orchestra which is run by St Edmund’s.

The School started a Saturday morning instrumental school 20 years ago and provides many opportunities for members of the local community to join in. The Music Staff also work with/run a number of outside groups in Kent. The school also links up with local prep schools Northbourne Park and St Faith’s for a major choral work in Canterbury Cathedral each year. Another musical venture is hosting the Kent Festival Piano Classes each November, open to all young pianists in Kent.
