Sporting Winners!

Congratulations to choristers from St Martin’s Ampleforth for their victories at the annual CSA Sports and Choral Evensong event recently.

For the third year in succession the Girls’ Choir Rounders Team and the Boys’ Choir Football Team were the winners at this year’s competition hosted by Lincoln Minster School.

After the sporting events the combined choirs (almost one hundred treble voices) rehearsed and sang Evensong under the baton of Jeffrey Makinson…. a ‘truly uplifting’ sound.
