HRH the Duke of Gloucester meets Choristers from The King’s School Gloucester

Earlier this month, Gloucester Cathedral was graced with the presence of royalty as HRH the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester attended a captivating Evensong and enjoyed the performance by the choristers from The King’s School Gloucester and the Youth Choir.

As Patrons of Gloucester Cathedral’s In Tune Organ and Music campaign, Their Royal Highnesses have a keen interest in supporting Gloucester Cathedral’s musical heritage. On this occasion, the Duke and Duchess attended Choral Evensong, met with choristers, and heard about the progress of the refurbishment of the Cathedral’s historic organ, which began this month.

This was a very special evensong with superb performances by the choristers from The King’s School Gloucester and the Youth Choir, all in the stunning setting of the Cathedral.
