CSA Conference 2023
I am immensely grateful to David Morton and Gareth Doodes for agreeing to host and organise the 2023 Choir Schools’ Association Conference, and look forward to welcoming Heads, Directors of Music and Clergy to what promises to be an excellent and inspiring two-day programme. The CSA Conference 2023 will take place at The King’s School, Worcester on 9th and 10th May 2023. This year’s theme is ‘3 Choirs’, in reference to the internationally famous 3 Choirs Festival, which has run in Worcester, Gloucester or Hereford Cathedrals for over 300 years.
The CSA looks forward to welcoming Head teachers, Directors of Music and a panel of expert speakers for a busy two-day schedule. Music will be provided by pupils from the three local, historic choir schools: King’s Worcester, King’s Gloucester and Hereford Cathedral School.
The conference promises to bring together some of the country’s leading schools, clergy and cathedral music departments, as well as celebrating the rich British choral tradition.
This national conference aims to provoke, inform, entertain and challenge those who attend. Key themes on the programme include safeguarding, partnerships, equality, diversity and inclusion, musical excellence, pupil and staff well-being, as well as close working between cathedral and school staff.
