Cardiff Metropolitan Choir at Abbey

Most choristers are enjoying a summer break but there are some who continue to sing, often in a different cathedral.  Cardiff’s Metropolitan Cathedral Choir sang Evensong at Westminster Abbey in mid-July with Director of Music and Organist David Neville’s I give you a new Commandment as the introit. It’s the Choir’s second London outing this year – it gave a lunchtime concert at St Paul’s Cathedral in February.

Peter Morris, Director of Music at St Peter’s Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton also has a busy holiday schedule – the boys and men will be heading for Durham Cathedral while the girl choristers will be singing services at Canterbury Cathedral.
