Ex-International Heads Sport at Exeter Cathedral School

Emma Ross, former hockey international player, becomes the next Director of Sport at Exeter Cathedral School in January. Her new role sees her as responsible for the provision and strategic development of all sport in the school.

Emma earned 131 caps for Ireland and was Vice-Captain at the Olympic Qualifiers in 2012. She has played Premiership hockey at Leicester and competed in the European Championships representing England. She is also a former County Netball player and has teaching experience across a vast array of sports.

Headmaster James Featherstone says: “It’s great news that Emma is joining us as we take sport very seriously at ECS, offering a broad programme which encourages and values participation whilst making provision for our most able sportsmen and sportswomen.”

CSA Western Division members will look forward to meeting Emma at the next Divisional Sports Day for Choristers!
