CSA Centenary Celebrations – For the Record!

As the summer holidays start and choristers head off for a well-deserved rest, we can look back on quite a term with the launch of CSA’s Centenary celebrations, a Royal Wedding at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle AND an invitation to Hereford Cathedral Choir to sing at a Papal Mass in Rome!

Chairman Paul Smith told members in May ‘we have much to celebrate and it is wonderful, looking back over our history, to note how much our organisation has grown, what it has achieved and the impact it has had, which extends far beyond the reaches of our membership. CSA has every reason to feel proud of the influence it exerts on young people, helping to forge a transformational experience in so many. An experience that few will ever forget and for which many will be forever grateful.’

You may have seen reports about our Centenary evensong in St Paul’s Cathedral on 9 May but we wanted to share this terrific account of the whole conference with lots of wonderful Ash Mills’ photographs and great text by Clare Stevens.
