Wells Cathedral School: A lasting investment in choral resources

The photographs illustrate the new music coverings that have been purchased, enabling copies to be attached quickly and securely using a large stapler. Green covers are used for the Vicars Choral, while chorister copies are colour-coded blue for canticles and masses, and red for anthems.

Funding has also enabled the purchase of new storage boxes, providing a secure home for many sets of music that had previously been without suitable storage.

These improvements will help preserve the music library for many years to come and support future performances. Once in a state of considerable disorder, the library is now tidy, well organised and far more efficient, significantly improving the day-to-day running of the music department.

The Choir Schools’ Association’s support has been instrumental in making these improvements possible and is greatly appreciated by everyone at Wells.
