The Grant from the CSA enabled us to host the ‘Art of Brilliance’ Conference, which was attended by staff from Westminster Abbey, Pocklington School, York Minster, Beverley Minster, Birmingham Cathedral, as well as St Peter’s.
It enlightened the delegates to the ways that we can support choristers’ emotional wellbeing; The presenter took us through the growth mindset, and what children need to have to be at their best; and what we need to do to get them there, and how to support them when things don’t quite go according to plan.
Delegates commented on the importance of this conversation, as well as how interesting and useful they found the day.
